Successful Tamil Nadu Government & Business Delegation to the Czech Republic

Under Mr. Ar Rm Arun’s initiative, the Czech Consulate Chennai and SICCI ensured a successful visit for the Tamil Nadu Government & Business Delegation to the Czech Republic

We would like to place on record the excellent support that was received from the Government of Tamil Nadu’s MSME Department and importantly the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi.

The Delegation had 33 Members participating, perhaps one of the biggest till date to the Czech Republic. The visit has certainly been enormously useful covering the following achievements.

  • Getting to know MSV’s potential for TN businesses
  • Connects with both Government & Industry Leaders
  • Introduction to potential Customers/Market and Business deal closures
  • SICCI signing 2 MoUs :
    1. With Confederation of Czech Chamber of Commerce & Industry
    2. With AMSP Chamber of Commerce
  • Site visits to varied Businesses from Aerospace & Defence to Crystal & Glass Making, presents TN businesses the opportunities available to collaborate with their Czech counterparts
  • Presenting Czechia as a Gateway to Europe for TN businesses
  • Czech companies could get to know the varied potential TN has to offer to expand collaboration & market access
  • Possibilities for hosting joint events and delegations
  • Business facilitation for TN & Czechia businesses
  • Collaboration with the Brno Incubation Centre
  • Tourism potential in Prague and rest of Czechia
